Mid-Morning Skate: Jan. 29, 2013
The All-Star break continues for the Albany Devils, who will hold an optional skate at Times Union Center tomorrow. Last night, Bobby Butler was on the ice for the 2013 AHL All-Star game. Even though he did not repeat his 2011 MVP performance, Butler was not held off the score sheet, registering an assist Worcester’s Bracken Kearns second-period tally.
Toronto’s Ryan Hamilton completed a hat trick with 11.2 seconds remaining in regulation, giving the West a 7-6 victory against the East. Hamilton was named the game’s MVP.
In the NHL, the New Jersey Devils return to action tonight against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden at 7 pm.
